2019 Lancaster County DUI Top gun awards

On June 23, 2020, thirteen officers from Lancaster County, PA were recognized for their efforts in combating driving under the influence violations.  These officers had a total of 354 DUI/DUID arrests in Lancaster County in 2019.  District Attorney Heather Adams, presented each officer with a plaque recognizing their work.   The DUI Council of Lancaster County is proud to continue to recognize these outstanding officers for their dedication to Lancaster County.

The DUI Council of Lancaster County Supports Lancaster County DUI Checkpoints
The Council fully supports the efforts of Lancaster County Police during "Driving Under the Influence" checkpoints.  These "high visibility" enforcement's are meant to decrease the number of DUI related crashes and deaths in Lancaster County.  
During these checkpoints (which are typically in the late evening hours) the Council provides meals and refreshments for the officers who are working.  A lot of times, these officers are working overtime during these checkpoints.
